| A resident of St Petersburg, James Woodfield Spruill's love of
the traditional methods of the old masters and an attention to detail
are his hallmarks. Trained by renowned Russian classicist painter
Stefan Unguryanov as well as student in a number of other ateliers,
James has gained knowledge of many different media and styles, examples
of which are found throughout the Tampa Bay Area from St. Petersburg
to the exclusive neighborhoods of north and south Tampa. His portraiture,
mural and landscape works grace the homes and offices of some of
Tampa/St Pete's prestigious churches, businesses and charitable
